I have absolutely no idea. I would love to see a Dan Dare film. Not sure who would play Dare (Maybe James Purefoy), Digby, Sondar (Maybe Jason Issacs or Dominic West) or Peaboy though. David Warner would make a good Sir Hubert and Andy Serkis could make a good Mekon. Hopefully if Dredd is commercially successful it'll pave the way for other 2000 AD comics.

It used to air on a terrestrial channel called Channel 5. It was quite good, as well as a rather faithful adaptation of the original stories and concept. They also kept the same design elements from the original comics from the 50s. Although they did change Sondar into a cyborg, and Digby into a cockney.

P.S. On another note, why has no-one done a Dan Dare/Judge Dredd crossover comic?? It would be interesting to see how those two characters would interact.
