Bringing this back on topic in an organic way... Alan Parsons, who engineered Dark Side of the Moon, is doing the music for this film. Any word on if it's going to be strictly a "hits of the era" score, or something with orchestral flourishes and such?

Well, it does say "Original Music," but then again IMDB info is only as accurate as the people that send it in. That being said, they do seem to have a good enough budget that they could do original music.

What do you mean by older music? He can't write music that's already written. Do you mean will they filmmakers choose to use songs from the period, or so you want Parsons to do a soundtrack that envokes memories of the 60's?

What I'm thinking is that Parsons may do 70s style music for the score if he doesn't go orchestral.
