remember, how did it go
with the X0/X9 raw releases.
i think only one or two people used
those to make anything out of it...
that's why i'm wondering in the end
if there will still be interest. it's going
to take a long time to copy on my end
also!

You're right in that only a few people made good use of the X9 and X0 raw captures and I do know and acknowledge that it'd take a long time and effort to copy on your end.
I don't want to push the issue, but with that being said, I think there's value in having the raw capture(s) available. Neither you nor I know what the future will hold, but several things are certain:
- Computers will continue to get faster and, in consequence, more capable of handling computationally-intense jobs that we can only dream of tackling today.
- Software will continue to get more advanced.
- The films will deteriorate.
Somebody in the next 5 years might come along with some advanced piece of software (e.g., PFClean), radically-fast hardware, and a burning desire to clean the living hell out of Star Wars. The raw captures would really help this hypothetical fortunate and resourceful person.
I think it's a matter of preservation... you busted your ass to digitize these films!
