The complete quote is: T'énerve pas p'tit gars, prends ta pelle et ton seau et vas jouer.
It's when Han Solo says "Watch your mouth or you're going to find yourself floating home" but in the French version translated back into English, he says "Don't get worked up little guy, take your shovel and your pail and go off and play"
- the sentence rolls off the tongue better in French, FYI...

I'm still working on the french preservation. I just haven't a lot of free time, so I'm working slowly.
Today I finished the 1st version of a french 5.1 audio track. I used the 2.0 GOUT audio and I play it into a dolby surround process in order to capture a 5.0 track. Then I mix hairy-hen LFE track.
I try the audio with Harmy Deed and it work very good.
Now I must have to finalize the french crawl.
I look forward to see the results.
Are you using Harmy's 2.0 video ?
It shouldn't really matter - v2.1 will be frame identical, so he should be able to just swap the sources in whatever program he's using after v2.1 comes out.

So I have a question to you Harmy : Did you make changes in v2.1 in the Solo/Greedo scene ? Because I have the v2.0 scene without the subtitles. Do I need a v2.1 of this scene without subtitles, or are they identical ?
No, there shouldn't be any changes to that. Or at least not the part that has subtitles.
I have to ask because if I remember correctly you mentionned the possiblity of choosing between the English and the French crawl. Is that still a thing?

It's good but not perfect. For the moment, I stop working on this and begin to work on the ending credits.
Here is the beginning of the french end credits.
It’s funny to see that in the penultimate frame, we see the english credits and then in the next frame the french credits are there. And the stars background is not the same too.
I suppose that it must be so in all the foreign ending credits.

Hey guys! I'm new on this forum. I've made a french preservation me too. I just finished it. Mine is different cause i tried to copy the english titles while keeping the fonts etc... i was too lazy to make a new crawl so i used the one of the "Special Edition" DVD from 2006 since it's the only source that i have. :)
And for the rest i used the Harmy edition except for the Greedo scene where i used the Special Edition again because it's subtitles free.

Can you explain me better how do you made the crawl ?
I'll maybe do that, i'm going to have an LD player soon and i have a Zoom recorder who actually does an amazing job. I used it to record the 1982 french audio of E.T The Extra-Terrestrial from a VHS.
For the crawl, i used the one from the Special Edition DVD of 2006. But there was a problem. At the beginning of this crawl you can read:
"Episode IV Un Nouvel Espoir" so i removed this part of the text by creating a mask on my editing software.
If you want more details, you should PM me, i can explain you everything in french it's easier. :)
