What is needed is a ¨standard¨ for the SE in the same way that we now see the GOUT as a standard for the OT. That way ALL future projects could sync to that standards video and audio or AviSynth scripts could be written to convert existing transfers to that standard in the way that Darth Mallwalker has done with some earlier OT releases.

This could be LD, VHS or HD broadcasts but I believe that the only ¨true" theatrical SE source we have are these DTS tracks which would be perfect as an SE standard.

It would be interesting to see/hear how close to synchronisation the DTS are with the work done by msycamore earlier in the thread.

Of course, anything like setting an SE standard would need a new thread of which these DTS tracks should play a massive part. Imagine being able to have different languages or subtitles synced together or the audio for the hard of hearing tracks all mixed to the same source......
