Two movies are shown thurs, fri, sat, so that they end just around midnight. There are no other events at the time, except for the rooms which were running late over the course of the day. Families with little kids, who would go for a day, they may stay for the first movie. A percentage of the people attending are off partying, all the websites have their own clicks. This year TPM 3D replaced the old version so that had a pretty big draw. Wanted to check if they were playing the blu-ray version, but didn't this year.

The movies are the common link which opened the door to everything else which fandom appreciates at the Celebrations. They are no longer the focal point. The movies are no longer the focal point. And much of the reason to go to C-whatever is to meet the people. But there are those who may not have a community so the movies are a way to be communal.
