Remove within 5 days?

Angel, you are the master of unintentional comedy.
True that.

Angel, while this thread was never about Adywan's edits, nor was my Wishlist, I will do as you requested. Well, more like commanded. We all appreciated your help in visualizing some of the ideas we had, its unfortunate you want to remove the remainder of the images from the public internet.

Good luck with whatever you're going to do with your ideas.

If you want real character development for Han, have him save Fett from the pit.

With the same amounts of love and respect...I find that just ultra cheesy. Way too "happy ending". Han used to be a bad ass....but by ROTJ he's become all but useless.....it would be nice to see him both settling down with Leia, but at the same time showing some of his former bad-assery...

Thanks Bingo, but you''ll see that the thing about all this is that I don't want the work to be labeled for adywan's project and ultimately to his credit. Those who are enough into my work will still have access to it through my Deviant Art page, and soon even to personal blogs. Personally, I find it not fair that one's work passes by in vain while others use a lot of concepts and ideas never giving a clear definition if the credit will come back to the ovens where they were cooked. You may say this is a melting pot, with everyone's ideas, and I agree. It's just that some people are reluctant to let some of us throw things in their pot, well, in that case they won't have access to ANY of my ingredients.

I wanted to have short interactions in this pages, because otherwise it would be rather hard, and so I decided to deal with things with one swift stroke.

I wont elaborate any further. Thanks for the interest. I just wanted that simple thing. And thats all from me :)

Oh, no, please elaborate. I would really like you to explain the accusations you have thrown at me. Not once have i ever taken credit for anyone else's work and i never would.

I take it that this is also aimed at me and my edits then just because i didn't ask you to work on Revisited. It was nothing personal at all. We just have completely different visual styles and ideas on what and how things could be changed. Nothing more. And you ARE credited in the end credits of ESB:R so i can't see why you would think that you have gone uncredited.

^ I don't think he means he's being uncredited or that you're stealing his work.

Only that - frankly - you're really the only name associated with "Revisited," and it's easy for the masses to forget other creative minds behind the final masterpiece.

The exact same thing happens in hollywood, really.
Big-name directors get all the credit for a movie that hundreds of people worked on. It's not the director's fault. It's just how people view things. Angel would seem to understand this.  Nothing more.

Which is one reason i will be ditching the "An Adywan Production" from the edits. From now on it will be "An AD1 Production" so it is no longer associated solely with my name and more of a production companies name . There are too many people involved in ESB:R, and will be for the remaining edits, that it is not right for me to have my forum name used in this way any longer.

Well that's the real trick isn't it? ;-)

Solo in ANH is kind of living a lie, he comes across as all mercenary and on his own but ultimately he isn't and that's what Leia likes.

He acts like a scoundrel but she like's nice men.

And he's nice men.

Fett is everything Solo pretended to be.

Having him get 'punchy facey' with Fett for revenge when he could just walk away is pure cheese burgher.

Being cool as a cucumber with Fett is more Solo.

This is the guy who practically gives Lando the key to his pad/car.

Just to be clear....when I said "duke it out" I meant as more of a gunfight, and not fisticuffs.

FETT AT THE BAR OF A CANTINA HIS BACK TO THE DOOR NURSES A DRINK. DOWN THE STAIR SWAGGERS SOLO WITH ONE HAND ON HIS HOLSTER.

BARMAN TO FETT : You want a straw with that son?

SOLO : Boba Fett! I wish to have words with you on the matter of being frozen in block of Carbonite and turned into a wall ornament.

THE BARMAN"S WORRIED FACE IS REFLECTED IN THE SCRATCHED VISOR OF FETT"S HELMET

SOLO: Would you care to step outside? I'm trying to foster a new reputation with the bar-keeps of the galaxy.

BARMAN : You ain't thinking about shooting in here? My cousin over at Mos Eisley still has burn holes in his intimate customer seating area.

SOLO : He was paid.

FETT TURNS AROUND AND LOOKS SOLO DIRECTLY IN THE EYE.

FETT : So was I.

BARMAN still addressing Solo : He wasn't paid enough I reckon.

FETT THROWS FLIPS A COIN OVER HIS SHOULDER TO THE BARMAN WHO CATCHES IT MID-FLIGHT.

SOLO : Well?

FETT : Well what?

SOLO : You gonna step outside?

FETT : Everyone steps outside eventually. I step outside when I'm paid to step outside.

SOLO : How much?

FETT : To step outside?

SOLO : Yeah. What's the going rate?

FETT : How much you got there?

SOLO : Just some loose change.

BARMAN : I bet.

FETT : Come back when you have some more.

SOLO : I was kinda hoping to sort this thing out here and now.

BARMAN : Outside?

SOLO : Preferably but I ain't fussy.

FETT : *sigh* Okay.

FETT FOLLOWS SOLO OUTSIDE WHERE TO HIS SURPRISE SLAVE ONE IS PARKED RIGHT OUTSIDE THE CANTINA.

FETT : I didn't leave that there.

SOLO : Yeah I know, I kinda hot-wired it... a bit.

FETT : You hot-wired my daddy's ship?

SOLO : Yeah... Kinda.

FETT : Well I do hope it won't blow up or anything. Not with that new reputation and all, as there is a lot of potential for bystander injuries around.

SOLO : What sort of a guy do you take me for? It won't blow up...

FETT : It won't?

SOLO : Nope.

FETT LOOKS AT SOLO, SOLO LOOKS AT FETT.

HAN WALKS AWAY LEAVING FETT BEHIND

SOLO : Well not unless you try and 'fly' it or something.

FETT : See you around Solo!

SOLO SLOWLY WALKING WITH HIS BACK TO FETT BREAKS INTO A GRIN.

FETT'S EXPRESSION IS AS ALWAYS HIDDEN.

I remember when I first saw Jedi and feeling that Han's whole character was off,...a cocky smart-ass saying 'delusions of grandeur'? or 'You tell that slimy piece of worm ridden filth, he'll get no such pleasure from us'?

To kill off Boba simply by bumbling is kinda like the way Lucas went with kid Anakin accidentally destroying the droid control ship.

In Empire you were on a journey with Solo, you got the feeling he was in control, he knew what he was doing & made quick decisions to get himself out of the s*it, but in Jedi his confidence and strength had gone.

That idea actually has some narrative potential — if Han came out of the carbonite having lost his strength and confidence, it could do a lot for his character — so long as his arc for the rest of the movie was dealing with it, regaining what he'd lost and developing as a character that way.

The movie as it stands only does the beginnings of this. I'm not saying it has to be done, or that it even could be done, but it would be one way to try to improve the film.

The Hobbit: Roadshow Edition

One way to do that which might be doable has nothing to do with Fett but everything to do with the current plot of the film.

Solo awakens blind and learns to see the world in a new light.

He is reborn.

No longer even pretending to be solo.

It might be possible to turn Han's new rank as a Rebel general into something bigger.

Maybe by shooting footage of more troops and taking dialogue from Ford's other films.

That way his raid on the dish becomes a turning of the page for Han instead of just stuff he was doing in between the the explosions and the sword fights.

Make it a risky endeavor for him.

Make a big thing of Leia getting shot etc so it book ends his rescue when he finally saves the day.

I really liked the red around the patient. I wonder if, with the air mask, it obscures the features too much in the bacta tank. Additional shots of the others looking into the bay at the tank could be added.

When the MF jumps into hyperspace at the end, were there any shots of it coming out with the ships of the fleet on the other side?

In the ROTJ reb briefing, it could cut away to the distant shot right after "Your the respectable one/". It would cut out "remember" and the "Awwww, that's our Han." smile from Lando.

R2 displays holo-recordings of the action while 3PO tells the Ewoks the tale?;/

I like the idea of the Holographic Recordings to the Ewoks but the problem is Artoo wasn't there to recall every moment.  He didn't witness Luke facing Vader for example!!! :(

Perhaps he could emulate sound effects to enhance the storytelling?

Maybe instead of showing the really short recap (how could he have won them over with such a fast story session is beyond me), we jump to the end and the Ewoks accepting the Rebels into the tribe.

He could then talk about their plan to destroy the shield and Artoo could demonstrate that with holograms.

Though I still think the Ewoks should already be planning to attack the Imperials as that is the only explanation for how quickly the traps are up.

Alternatively Threepio could start telling the story, Luke and Leia could have their moment and by then Threepio could have finished. The Ewoks are won over and Han goes outside to find Leia upset.

It would require a bit of editing around the edges to remove Leia and Luke when they aren't there but it could make the scene work better.

  A Facebook update from Adywan

UPDATE:

After talking to the 2nd & 3rd units that are working with me on these projects, they don't want the name to be changed from Adywan to AD1. So things will stay the same and no changes to the name will be made.

One day we will have properly restored versions of the Original Unaltered Trilogy (OUT); or 1977, 1980, 1983 Theatrical released versions (Like 4K77,4K80 and 4K83); including Prequels. So that future generations can enjoy these historic films that changed cinema forever.

Any work on bringing the DSII much closer to Endor? Giving Endor a planet to which it is the moon? Parts of the station could poke through the clouds. It seems to sit in geostationary orbit for the shield generator.

Make the briefing as vague as possible? something like the threat it poses to destroy worlds and then a quick mention that the shield must be breeched. We don't see how it is to be penetrated. Push the reveals of the station and how it is to be attacked back?

Well... let's face it: the whole storytime with C3P0 was to make the Ewoks cute and endearing so as to make kids go "Awww!" and rush out to the stores to buy their very own Teddy Ruxpi... Ewok doll.  I mean "action figure".

You know, I'm surprised (now that I think about it) that Lucas did NOT rip off Teddy Ruxpin and make an animatronic Ewok for kids to play with.  Think about the fun times a kid could have had with a dead-eyed Ewok speaking Chineskimese.
