Chaltab, it's really all about the fact that the scene did not need changing. Yes, he looks a little different from how he appears in ROTJ. Whoopy-dee-doo. You knew he was the same person, didn't you? Hell, I knew it was the same person and I was 8 years old. So, why change it? The hood over the head added this great air of mystique to his persona. Now you see his whole face and, like I said earlier, it makes him look like a sad, pathetic old man, nothing more, nothing less. How is that scary? It's not. And the dialogue change? Why bother? I know it "ties up ends" to a degree, but it is insulting to think that George doesn't believe that people can make that connection on their own. He's turned a masterful watercolor painting into a paint-by-number schlock job.
