The current reviews of dual layer DVD*Rs I've read all listed their current compatibility rate with existing players at more or less an abysmal 45% or so... personally, I wouldn't take one of the currently made dual layer DVD*Rs for free.

OK, so I would take it *for free* if only to see if my player accepts it.
