Hi all!
I've read all 190+ pages of this wonderful thread, and decided I should get off my figurative backside and show my appreciation to Harmy. I didn't realize how much I missed these movies until I saw the Despecialized 1.0 releases. All of my childhood memories came flooding back; seeing Luke, Han, and Leia--exactly as I remember them--felt like reuniting with childhood friends. Suddenly, I was five years old again, trudging across our snow-strewn street with my big brother beside me. It was a snow day, which was already great, but this time was extra special because our neighbors invited us over to have hot chocolate and watch Star Wars. While I can't remember what the house looked like, nor much else of that day, the star field in Star Wars is burned in my mind. There's something primal, and comforting about these movies, and I can't wait to watch Star Wars v2.0 on the next snowy day. Thanks again. =D
