Seeing as you mentioned it, below is something I threw together 6 or 7 years ago (Yes, I am a file hoarder!!) regarding the US NTSC tapes which may be of use. The information mostly came from the now defunct DavisDVD site so trust the information as you see fit.

My assumptions came following my work on the PAL VHS releases.......
