It's actually caused by a combination of several factors. My main source is You Too's colour correction script encode of the BD, which brilliantly solves some of the BD's most gruesome colour issues such as the ever present magenta tone. Unfortunately in this particular scene, You Too's correction took it even further away from the way it looked on the technicolor print and when I tried squeezing more colour out of it, the black got crushed, so I tried using the original BD footage but my feeble attempts at getting rid of the magenta colouring resulted in the mess that is the first part of the scene in WP3R5, so I asked You Too for advice and he told me to use curves and I managed to fix it; I'll probably render and upload the compactor scene tomorrow.
