As you may have noticed I have been rewatching NuGalactica and perhaps to address some of the concerns ChainsawAsh has about Game Of Thrones, if the show continues to be a hit all the way through to when the books are done and adapted it might be possible to either do a theatrical film or a television mini-series that covers some of the material that's missing from the books and maybe even flashback to the War Of The Usurper which book fans tell me was a major missing part of the dreamquest in The House Of The Undying.

I made the decision to watch Razor in it's chronological placement and it fits well and possibly gives a new insight into Hera's 'spiritual' origin (I shall watch The Plan after Ellen has awoken as it doesn't really fit as a closing appendix to the show).

Having a special which deals with the precursors of the main body of the story can work if the details are worked out before and that seems to be the case in the Game Of Thrones universe.
