I'm happy to see that you guys agree with me. (I kind of thought you would.)

I never heard any complaints about his acting during the Star Wars heyday. It wasn't until the '90s that it became "hip" to diss him, ironically right around the time he started kicking ass as The Joker on TV. (Most people didn't know it was him doing the voice.)

To a lesser extent, I've seen similar slams against Carrie Fisher. (Lack of big roles after Star Wars = Bad actress)

Whenever people pull this on forums, I try to set them straight. Thankfully I don't see it very much anymore. I think the prequels showed people what bad Star Wars really was.
