has dark jedi quit the forums ? all his posts are in shut down mode? i hope this is a temporary thing and not an end to this project

o.k. i worked out what happened from the other thread. so this project might still be a go. personally speaking i dont mind if two people want to have a go at each other if i get to watch two versions of star wars at the end of it .. (not really - i dont think that - well maybe a bit)

There was a dust up in the "my attempt at color correcting the gout thread" i'm hoping this isnt going to put an end to this project here. You_Too had been working on squeezing every last drop of colour out of the GOUT, I'm hoping all that accrued anaylsis isnt going to go down the toliet.

I sincerely hope they continue and share their work.  I just got the v3 dark jedi's last week and they're fantastic.  Whatever the disagreement was about it surely won't overshadow the importance of the restoration work being done by everyone here?

@stretch009: I agree with you - I wasnt arguing for special terms - I havn't actually seen DJ V3 I was more anticipating what You_Too was adding to the mix on this forthcoming project

The more we insult him while he can't respond the more likely he'll not release the project... I hope you guys are aware of that.

For the record, this isn't exclusive to DJ; I would think that would be the same of anyone with a temp ban!

I'm new here and don't know all the politics of what's going on behind the scenes but I'm sure cooler heads will prevail and we can all focus our anger where it belongs:  on the destruction of the legacy of our childhood memories.

I take 2 weeks off from posting and I come back to chaos.  great...

I just hope whatever happened is resolved soon.

Whaaat??  I only deleted those two posts because I wanted to take back what I said because I thought they would bother some people here especially the person who was just temp-banned.  I haven't deleted any other posts.

I don't think you guys should worry.

While I haven't talked to DJ since he got banned, I'm sure he won't give up this project just because of that. We're still in the process of cleaning up frames and we've finished more than half of the first movie.

We've also decided we're going to try and fix the color errors too, like Vader's belt lights, Luke's binoculars etc.
