was checking out the color corrected version

of reel 1 this weekend.. looks very cool.

there's a few anomalies, like a small red

tint at the bottom of the initial chase scene.

leia looks great.. there are some scenes that

are naturally darker than you've seen before:

r2d2 and c3p0 in the escape pod sequence.

some of the r2d2 in the canyon and the jawas..

(finally get to see what the coloring on that looked like!).

there a lot of natural grain throughout, but most of it

will remain.. basically a lot of dust and dirt to cleanup.

it's a bit more prominent then i thought, but we were

prepared for it. very exciting getting the first previews.

i can honestly say, i've never seen star wars look like

this, colorwise and retaining the feel of THE original

as it was actually meant to be. definitely a step back

in time.
