Peter Jackson's King Kong was the most disappointing film I have ever seen. First of all he made Kong a silverback gorilla. Kong is a huge unknown ape, not a giant generic gorilla! Then we wasted so much time on that damn ship with a bunch of characters and subplots that go nowhere as most of those characters are swatted like flies and never addressed again. Then later we find out he cut a bunch of cool island stuff? Meh.
