Battleship (2012)

I had no intention of seeing this whatsoever. However, it was my dad's birthday and he really wanted to see it. So...I saw it. It was not terrible. It was not great. It was good for what it was, a mindless popcorn flick. The action was good, the acting was adequate as was the writing. The film was filled with characters who all had different humorous quirks to them that kept things interesting. It was never boring. Rihanna was not annoying or distracting. It played it safe and was the better for it. Still wouldn't recommend it to anyone though. =P
