Well... just keep in mind Ady's own rule: Changes shouldn't be made unless there is a reason. Things shouldn't be modified just to make things "cooler", but only if there is a function to it.

The Hoth displays are almost necessary, to the degree that we can now see why the woman at the booth is saying "Fire" (I can go either way with the background display, as it does look cool... but considering that the one on the right seems to be close range stuff, ie. the ion cannon targeting monitor, couldn't the one in the back have a more "far range tracking the Imperial fleet as they position around Hoth" angle?). Vader's display mod details are frankly unnecessary (short of the basic outline and grid pattern), as the primary function is to show Ozzel and Piett.

Regardless, Ady knows that none of this is personal to the degree of any sort of retribution. We all care about these movies and just want to add our perspective. Short of anything underhanded or behind the scenes, it's all there to be taken with a grain of salt, where he can play with the ideas to see if they work, use them or shrug them off and go with what he had before. In the end we'll still have a fantastic edit that will be miles better than what the studios would limit us to.
