Look at this, ever since the XP-38 came out, they just aren't in demand.

BLACK RAGE!!!
I am pleased to announce that thanks to an early birthday gift, I now have possession of my own copy of the Original Trilogy on Blu-Ray. I may or may not be removing the shrink-wrap because, I am almost scared to see how butchered the blu-ray editions are.
However, and more importantly, this means I will be able to download ESB: Revisited without any fear of "Imperial Entanglements".
Congrats! And you don't want to watch them. Even more scenes you liked have been ruined with no fear of continuity issues.

Hence me stating that they may remain shrink-wrapped. I may just wait for Ady to finish all of the revisits... Won't buy the prequels until absolutely necessary, which won't be for several years probably...
Adywan just posted this at the Revisted Facebook page:
UPDATE>>>>>
I've been a bit quiet on here lately, not only because this account was suspended, but also because there have been some developments in my personal life that have been taking up most of my time. Luckily this time it isn't anything bad. It looks like i will be moving house within the next month or so. This will be really beneficial, not only for my personal life, but also for the Revisited projects. It will give me a hell of a lot more space to be able to create and film everything i need to do. So from this point in time, until everything is sorted and we have settled into the new place, i will be unable to work on ESB:R. It's still not 100% confirmed that i will be moving as yet as there are still factors that may halt the move, but its more certain than not presently. Whilst this is all in progress it's unlikely that i will have any internet access while everything is swapped over so i probably won't be able to give regular updates. So i apologise for yet another delay on the release date but i hope you can all understand why this is now a priority. I wasn't able to say anything earlier because all this has only happened during the last few weeks.
Because of this new delay i will be posting a new video shortly.

He then posted this new preview clip! This has been a crappy week for me in more ways than I can say. What a great pick-me-up!
Note the new displays, and the first glimpse of the 2nd Unit! Can you find them?

Awesome new clip! Love the inclusion of the third transport sliding out of the hangar in the background as the first transport leaves. So subtle, and one of those things where you go, "Why didn't LFL think of that?" (Like 90% of Ady's changes, tbh!)
And like always with these comparison clips, I see the errors I never noticed before, like Piett's shoulder peeking through the bottom of the view screen matte. You can't unsee these gaffes, making me all the more grateful for SW:R.

The Ion Cannon shot!
Believe it or not, its a Special Edition error!asterisk8 said:

Indeed! Ming said that those soldiers were from a random take they did, not for something specifically for that shot. The best part is one of them reacts to the cannon going off!

Nice video Ady. I dig the display enhancements - very cool, yet non intrusive and in keeping with the spirit of similar things in the original film (like the binoculars for example). One thing I noticed though, you didn't fix this SE colour fluke:
Looks amazing!! Only thing that feels a bit... pointless, I guess... is the text on Vader's viewscreen. The border is fine, but what's the purpose of that small text on the sides (even being sideways on the right) that would be impossible to read from that distance?

That was quick. :)
Absolutely unbelievable new clip! As if I weren't looking forward to ESB:R before, I'm now completely psyched! Very good work, all around.

Most of it was new to me, so I got excited.Ripplin said:

The amount of small detail in there is incredible. I never would have seen the 2nd unit shots if not for the screen grab comparisons.
I like the subtle display changes and the change in the Ion Cannon effects. Brilliant!
While I know it won't be out in time for my birthday on May 23rd. I am really looking forward to this release!
I loved the clip and was probably happiest seeing the new displays in the control room. I was always surprised they didn't do more with them even in the original release, to be honest. Sure, a guy points a flashlight at a few red dots or something, but otherwise... :p

yeh, i spotted that after i had already spent 45 minutes uploading half of the video and i couldn't be bothered to re-render and spend ages uploading again. It's been fixed.
Great to hear, thank you :-) I noticed that error some time ago (banging myself on the head for not fixing it in the DeEd v1.0) so I was on a look out for it when watching your video :-)
The work in this video is very professional. If I wasn't familiar with the original, I would hardly notice the changes. (Unlike those blasted SE and DVD changes).
The HUD on the screen and the glass animations were flawless, though they do come across as kind of prequelish.
Exactly. Visual continuity.aalenfae said:

Ah, I see your point.
If you can't change all the prequel screens, you can compromise and meet halfway, I suppose.
