Luke and Leigh are not mentioned by name, nor do we know its a boy and girl. My logic is this: we know Anakin fathered two children, and we know that Luke is one of them in Ep. 4. Same last name, and he even mentions Anakin by name.
I'm also borrowing KCutter's idea and have incorporated footage of Padme alive with a child resting in a bed. The thought process is that most people will assume the two children were identical twins, not fraternal. So it does preserve some surprise in Ep 6 when its revealed who the siblings are.
