Day 305:

Since Episode I, I've been trying to persuade George to make a cameo appearance. A couple of times there were opportunities: He could have been of the dignitaries a the Naboo peace celebration, but he thought it was too cheesy. I tried once more on Episode II, and failed again. So I gave up. It took his daughter Katie to convince him to join the opera crown in Revenge of the Sith.

Good job, John Knoll. I'm sure Lucas is glad that you (er... his daughter) talked him into it, even though he thought it was cheesy.

It's not like anyone else thinks that cameo (and the attendant name) are cheesy. *eyeroll*
