So I saw the Avengers on Monday. Did things a bit out of order. I won't add much, but after watching Avengers, I then saw Thor. I would generally say that if you only saw one of the individual hero's movies beforehand, this is the most important, but having seen it out of order, I think I got a bit of a different perspective that I am grateful for. The common antagonist seems like a typical megalomaniac in The Avengers, and I therefore prefer him in Thor. While not a fantastic movie, the most enjoyable part of Thor was that same antagonist before he develops more grandiose schemes, and I like him far better. He's actually quite sympathetic and interesting, and I don't know if I'd appreciate that as much had I seen the films in the correct order. Just my thought.
