So, I've had this goal to watch every film on both of AFI's Top 100 Movies lists. I've been working on it for awhile, and saved the "best" (number 1) for last. I've never seen it before, and I finally watched it today (coincidentally Orson Welles' birthday).

Citizen Kane 10/10

I wasn't wowed. This might be because I already knew the reveal, though that did allow me to pick up on all of Kane's motivations throughout the film. But don't get me wrong. I almost wish I didn't know it was so acclaimed, so I could be surprised by both the end of the film and its quality. Either way, this is most certainly one of the greatest films of all time. Just maybe not the greatest.
