Hi, my first foray into the tech forum. I have a nagging question about frame rate editing:

Is there a commercial program that will remove, say, every 15th frame and automatically smooth the audio? I'm not talking about a PAL type speed-up or slow-down of the whole shmeal with the audio raising or lowering in pitch, I mean pulling out frames and associated audio at certain regular intervals or where it is especially possible and using morphing/blending type tech to smooth it.

The goal would be to reduce run-time (or in some instances increase it by doubling frames) and increase pace tension or drama without creating choppiness and distortion in the image or audio. :)
