Robotic double bill.
First up Android (1982)
I haven't watched this for years and it really has improved with age.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, cameras just love Klaus Kinski.
He could do anything, anything at all and somehow I would be compelled to watch.
Don Keith Opper gives a very sensitive and endearing performance as Max and Aaron Lipstadt (whatever happened to him?) manages to squeeze a very effective film out of a microscopic budget.

Next Death Machine (1994).
Hilarious (unintentional?) spoof of almost every 1980's Science Fiction action film.
If The Asylum made this film it would be billed as Terminalien Vs Robommando, being part Terminator, part Aliens, part Robocop, part Max Headroom, Part just about everything.
In an amazing shift of career Brad Dourif plays a utter nutcase (who uncannily resembles Tommy Wiseau).
It's really fun and punchy stuff.
Too good to be so bad it's good.
The only aspect of the piece I didn't enjoy was a really out of place piece of character exposition which makes Phoebe Cates' dislike of Christmas in Gremlins almost seem tasteful.
