It doesn't cost a thing to upload to a lot of sites. Megashares, Depositfiles, Letitbit, Rapidgator and Mediafire (a personal favorite) are all free to upload. There may be a limit, but we're talking about 100 to 300 gb, so there should be plenty of leeway for uploading a good MKV or AVCHD of EMPIRE:R.
For those who DO upload to a file sharing site (involving RAR files), I would definitely consider altering the name (from EMPIRE STRIKES BACK to something like LUCK'S MISSING HAND; password protection does help too, per Savage's note).
