 (Edited)

Well, I did it. I finally got a vintage Millennium Falcon. It’s from 79, still in it’s box and complete. Never played with and the decals have never been put on it. Can’t wait to get this. My Han and Chewie finally have a Falcon.

How much did you have to fork over for that gem?

Bossk, not much (at least in my opinion). $160.00. Could have been more. I've seen them go for over $200.00 before. I got very lucky.

Well, I scooped on another eBay bargain. $35.00 for Darth Vader's Tie Fighter in the 1978 box. Well, I think my ships are as complete as I want to make them. Looks like it's onto the final handful of figures. Yikes. This could take awhile.

Sean, you're right. Ebay has been very, very good to me.

Congratulations, R2! I know the euphoria you feel, because I managed to finally get my carded Mara Jade off of ebay just a few weeks ago (and I managed to pay less than the current market value is, even with shipping included). Not as big of a deal as your vintage Falcon, but it's definitely 'my favorite decoration.'

Now if only I could get Shannon McRandle's autograph on the card...that would be only too cool.

Thanks guys. I can't wait to get this. Luke, for me I'd say it's the 2nd Holy Grail of Star Wars toys. My first would have to be my Death Star Space Station. I waited three years (when I was a kid) to get that sucker. Once I moved to San Francisco and decided to sell off some of my toys, that was one of the things that I kept. I'm so glad that I did.

Now that I have all of the ships and toys that I want I think it's time to complete my Kenner figures set. I just need those last 14.

It arrived!!!!! My Falcon is here!!!!!! This is a fucking cool ass toy!!! I love this thing. Took me an hour to meticulously apply the decals (some of which weren't sticky anymore so I had to use glue) and put it together. Once I got it together and the glued decals had dried, the thing was beautiful! I love this ship. Oh the fun I could have had had I had this as a kid. My Vader Tie Fighter arrived earlier this week and it is just as cool. However, since my cousin had one of these, I wasn't as excited about it as much as the Falcon. Awesome, awesome toy. Sorry to gush, but I can't get over this thing.
