I just watched the Robot-removed-compar video and I'm really impressed with the improvement of the picture, especial the improvement on the background is incredible.

For some reason when I burned this it was grainy and a little blurry.
Can anyone trade with me so I can get hammy's despecialized set?
My Blu-ray player had problems with 1.0 that the person I burned them for did not have a problem with. It may be your player, which means a trade may not help, unfortunately. Just a heads up.scallions said:

When you burn an image to disc, you're burning the exact same bits, 0s and 1s, as everyone else. So, someone else's copy shouldn't matter.
I'm not sure I like being called hammy! :-D

Think about it! This could be your avatar:
This is what came up on google.

That grain is most likely present in the film lol. It has nothing to do with how you burned it.
I like how in the We Hate Movies podcast on Episode 1, they tell their listeners to search for "the Despecialized Edition by Humble".Harmy said:

More publicity? I didn't know about that. Humble, huh? Yeah, that's me :-)

But that is neither here nor there. Loved the Photoshop layers, crazy how much it takes, when I'm sure there are some who wonder why it takes you so long just to remove a silly little droid! ;-)

Truly amazing stuff. New to the site, loving v1, can't wait for v2. For those interested, I've added all 3 to www.themoviedb.org for easy scraping into XBMC and other supported media players.
Thanks for all the hard work on this incredible project!
Harmy, that sentry droid update is superb.

Did you get permission from Harmy to do that? Or at least ask him first before you decided to do that? Harmy probably doesn't care one way or the other but dam man.
I love everybody. Lets all smoke some reefer and chill. Hug and kisses for everybody.
I thought of that, too. What is the purpose of that site? At first I thought it was streaming movies, but it appears that it is just like an IMDB clone. Like you say, Harmy probably won't mind, but still common courtesy would be to at least ask...
Harmy,
I apologize if this was something you didn't want. themoviedb is an open source project for people to assist with maintaining their movie collection. I highly recommend checking it out along with XBMC. Certainly not a streaming site! This was done so users can differentiate their existing collection with the despecialized version. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks. -Onizuka
No problem, although I would have appreciated if you'd asked first ;-)
Harmy, what do you think about this?

That on a T-shirt.
Recreated logos? Sounds like we're getting into Star Wars Preservationist Preservation!

Can anyone tell what font that is? ;)
Sigh, I couldn't wait any longer. I watched version 1 last night. Last time was with a group - but I wanted to watch alone so I could savor the taste of delicious 1977 Star Wars. So yummy.
I'm pretty darned satisfied with version 1. I hope to have a bluray burner by the time version 2 is finished, so no hurry, Harmy! ;-)
Oh, and thank you again. "REAL" Star Wars is so rad.

The font is Cookies and the logo came from this video. If Harmy like the logo I'll post the original .psd file and high-res .png
No, I'm pretty sure Cookies isn't the right font. Or, if it is, there was some heavy customization done to it back then. Here's a comparison I've made; Cookies is in grey.
