She looked less attractive for television but if the aim is to build a realistic feeling fantasy she was average to real life.

You'd pass many women, happily married with active social lives who look like her and you'd bet there would be some women who would envy her looks (especially her figure).

You could have got the same impression (probably better) by having the scene nonsexual and have Theon describe to a none too interested male sailor the of the sort of heroic return he was expecting.

What I was talking about was locations like the brothel.

Surely there are tired pug ugly women of court who would pay for a bit of slap and tickle either from a sexy fella or a sexy gal.

Also I imagine there would be wealthy men of court who prefer pug ugly women or really rotund ladies.

It just seems like the show is pandering too much to the titillation angle rather than painting a diverse and realistic no holds barred fantasy world.
