Bumping this old thread because I agree with Moth3r and because I want to find a nice capture card. 

I too bought a set top DVD recorder and recorded some stuff with it, and while the picture is not bad, it's horribly interlaced and just isn't as nice as I would like for it to be. 

Can anyone recommend a nice capture card capable of old analog captures for a decent price?

I would like to be able to capture video from PS3 games as well, but it's not essential that whatever card I get does both.
