He skated with his right foot forward and pushed with his front foot, just like me. Skating "goofy" is common but "mongo" pushers are regarded with some disdain among the skating community.

Oh so it's a skateboarding term... English, it's like a whole new foreign language every time.

That's what I was afraid he meant. Thank goodness he meant skateboarding, which is still probably based on that terrible definition.

 

I couldn't resist using the unfortunate term to seem like I was being crassly insensitive toward a differently-abled youth. I realise the humour is in somewhat poor taste and I apologise if anyone was offended.

okay this is driving me crazy.   Before I left the forum, I could close my browser and when opened it up again and came back to ot.com, I would still be logged in.   Now, after I have come back, whenever I close my browser, I have to type my user name and password in again.  What is going on?

I imagine your cache has been emptied.

Probably your browser has updated and changed it's default settings.

As I constantly reset my browsers I always have to log in.

I only have to do it once for all of you.

It's a little block transfer computation trick I picked up on Logopolis before I accidental destroyed the place and a good quarter of the then universe.

That would have been a bad day if I hadn't rounded it off by dropping you know Who off a very tall tower *memories*.

Sadly it seems I can't just drop him from a higher tower, last time he took a plunge it was from a space ship through a plate glass dome and onto a marble floor and the bugger got up and started waving a gun around.

Even though I am nearly as old as Frink, I won't tell you to get off my lawn. In return, I would ask that you don't complain about its length.
