The Avenger Initiative (* unfinished project - a host of info & ideas*) — Page 2

In XX\XY, Ruffalo is in the bathroom brushing his teeth, but the only shot of him alone is far too short to be usable. 

So, I want to have this done in by next month, before Avengers comes out. I'm following the timeline from the link I posted in my previous post, except I will mostly only use DVD footage, as I don't have a blu ray burner or have any of the video games or comics. I have both One Shots from the blu rays, however. I also plan on including the alternate Incredible Hulk opening in the snow. Are there any other deleted scenes, video game footage, or something from the comics mentioned in DIrishB's timeline on www.thecomicboard.com that just HAS to be used in this edit? 

Now I can only do SD, but I will first arrange all of the DVD chapters shown into one giant 10 or so hour thing. Then I will edit that down to about 2-3 hours to make a watchable "prequel" to the Avengers movie.

I've also got some ideas on how to handle the switches to Don Cheadle and Mark Ruffalo.

For Hulk, some of the other deleted scenes would be definately be good. Not scenes like the extended pizza deliveries, obviously, but I think there are some more scenes with Ross that would work and maybe some of the ones with Bruce and Betty. Just a thought. Hulk definately needed a lot of those deleted scenes in it.

Yeah, I'll take a look at them. I'm almost finished with this, following the above timeline (just the DVDs) almost exactly.

There is already a version on the 'bay in mp4 format that follows a different timeline than the chapter by chapter one I posted above.

Yeah. It's pretty good, especially his transition from Iron Man 1 to Iron Man 2 (haven't seen much more than that yet), but I want to do one like DIrishB's timeline above, without the comics and games.

No, no one used the comics and games in an actual edit (though it would be interesting) that I know of, just that the timeline I posted has game and comic excerpts included.

Basically, DIrishB made a timeline that breaks down the DVD's chapter by chapter, which is what I am basing my edit on, with a couple of deleted scenes and a few other things added in (Ed Norton morphing into Mark Ruffalo, car crash/ plastic surgury turning Terrence Howard into Don Cheadle and a few more, pretty much this:

Thanks. I hope I can live up to the hype. I wonder if Holtey is still planning anything? Don't get me wrong, I'm sure SpoonWielder's is cool and all, and no, again, it doesn't include the games and comics. The only bad thing is that it's in mp4 format. Mine will be in DVD format and a slightly different scene order.

I will also make two versions, one of which will be in the 2 hour range.

I just need some critique/ suggestions on those two scenes as soon as I finish them and post the video. They are a combination of footage from different movies, TV shows and stock footage and are less than 5 min each.

See if you can guess where they are from. The obvious clip is the "Puny Human" clip from Ang Lee's Hulk.

Thanks guys. Y'know, I've been working on this every day before and after work for what seems like forever now.. I didn't want to watch Avengers until I had it done, but I'm glad I did watch it anyway. After I watch my project, I'm going to watch Avengers again..

Anyway, due to the scene being in the Avengers movie, I'm going to remove the Captain America "after credits" scene from this.

I'd say I'm 90% completed now, basically just need to look at some deleted scenes from Disc 2 of the Target 3 disc Incredible Hulk I have. I already have the Alternate Opening, Ross and Blonsky going into more detail about the creation of the Hulk and some bits in Brazil. I also have the alternate opening for Iron Man 2 (with the helmet kiss from the trailer) and a couple other deleted scenes.

As far as audio for the transition scenes, probably just gonna go with audio from other movies and stuff.
