With good writing, an idea like this wouldn’t be difficult.
Have a scene where Palpatine, after declaring himself Emperor, starts to round up those senators he knows were against him.
Have a scene where Organa tells Mothma that she has to split, has to go into hiding. See her ship leave Coruscant. Bail stays. He explains how he will be the insider in Palpatine’s Empire. He’ll pretend loyalty while secretly working to expand the Rebelllion with Mon.
Maybe show some of the other senators getting arrested by clonetroopers. Fang Zar could resist and gets shot down. Murdered right there in his office.
They come to Padme’s apartment. She is not there. On her way to Mustafar. The handmaidens make a ruckus. Dorme is shot and left for dead. Captain Typho comes in and is pistol whipped on the head by a clonetrooper. They leave.
The other couple of handmaidens start crying by Dorme’s body. A believable scene that provides the needed corpse.
