hat's a good point. We saw sporting events being watched in the bar in Episode II, so there ought to be news broadcasts and even a "C-Span" for the Senate.

Thanks, SilverWook. I think it could’ve worked.

You just have these big screens in the halls of say… the Galactic Senate building.

Senators are walking the halls. Aides are walking the halls. Droids, etc. Think those screens in a movie like Total Recall. I always remember Arnold eating breakfast and watching ESPN. Big video screen that seem like part of the walls. Not everywhere. Strategically placed.

You could shows news broadcasts that give details about a particular battle in the Clone Wars.

“And today, the Jedi Master, General Obi-Wan Kenobi, and his former apprentice, the legendary Anakin Skywalker, thwarted an attempt by a Trade Federation battle cruiser to stop a much needed medical supply vessel from reaching its destination on Ansion.”

Then you flash to a surgeon on the planet saying “Thanks to General Kenobi and General Skywalker, hundreds… if not thousands of lives have be saved.”

Then you cut to the streets of Coruscant where adults and children alike are praising and worshipping Anakin.

“I’m just glad he’s on our side.”
“That young Jedi seems to know how to fight this war.”
“He’s so handsome.”
“Who’s your favorite Jedi?” – Reporter
“Anakin!” – Little boy or girl

As far as politics go, have the screens showing senators like Mon and Padme saying that Palpatine is consolidating too much power. Have a sort of roundtable discussion. Mon, Padme, and throw in some alien senators loyal to Palpatine along with a moderator hosting it. Humanoid? Alien? Doesn’t matter. Both. Different scenes. Nothing big or long. Quick bursts. Little snippets.

Expands the narrative. Increases believability (suspension of disbelief). Generates emotion.
