Awesome...very cool to see you are making use of deleted scenes to allow for even more ridiculousness.

I can't tell you how thrilled I was to find that last shot of Padme's mom looking wistful (though it had to be reversed to get the right look). It literally gave me the giggles.
Wistful wasn't the word that popped into my head. ;)
Where were you in '77?
I'm undecided on whether to put this in the movie or just let it be a deleted scene for the DVD...
(clip is rated PG-13)

Leave it in!
Actually you could go a little further with that idea. There are plenty of suggestive shots from Star Wars and other genre films you could lay over the song. ;)

+1.
It is similar to scenes in Airplane and other movies, and most kids won't get it anyway. :)
Ho hum cliché. :/ I'm sure I'm the only one that thinks so. Not my style of humor.
It is too intrusive/distracting and what Ripplin said.
The blue elephant in the room.
Monty Python actually did the gag years before Naked Gun.
It might work better with all Star Wars footage too.
Where were you in '77?
Yes, all Star Wars footage would be funny.

I thought she said "soul sister"?
Winner winner, Amidala Family Dinner!
Her sister's name is "Sola." So she now says "This is my soul sister, Sola." Incidentally, she might also be saying "This is my sole sister, Sola." Incidentally, that could mean she's only got one sister, or that her sister is a fish. Or the bottom of a shoe.
And did I just see Padme's mom get the hots for Anakin? O_O
What you saw, if I did it correctly, was the implication that she and Anakin had a fling in the past. Which is why Anakin says "What are you doing here?" and then a whole mess of awkward follows.
You could take that further and hint that he's had a relationship with everyone round that table. Except Padme.
You could have a shot of a dog as well giving him, 'the look'.

Nah, I'd leave it out. However, I would add terrible sucking sounds as they kiss. Like neither of them really knows what they're doing.TV's Frink said:

I thinking maybe a mix of Naked Gun and Star Wars footage. Also thinking of replacing the music...haven't decided on a song yet though. One of the ridiculous love scene songs in "The Room" might be funny.

Funny idea but I like it as is.

I hate Family Guy.
I will admit that's pretty funny, but I'm not bumping The Blues Brothers music for it.
I agree. Blues Brothers is the movie for elevator music! :)

Might this work?

As for replacing Naked Gun shots, some suggestions:
Escape pod launch.
Artoo's probe thingy interfacing with computer console.
Artoo being spit out by swamp monster.
Asteroid slug coming out of hole.
Pod Racers going into tunnel.
Crowd standing and cheering Pod Race, or just Watto's group.
Gungan sub propeller from deleted scene.
Jabba dying.
Torpedoes going down DS exhaust port.
Guy throwing switch on Death Star
Alderaan exploding or fireworks over Coruscant.

^Some great ideas there :-)
I was hoping for some "GET ON TOP!" "I'M TRYING!"

Extended the crossfade at the end, added two SW clips near the beginning, and (at my wife's request) removed Luke because he shouldn't be involved in a romantic moment between his parents.

Thank you. For everything.
And good idea cutting Luke out. That's kind of gross. Good thinking TV's Wife! Also, nice to hear her getting involved in the ridiculousness.

She also recommended the two kids songs in the Club. She has to earn her end credit just like everyone else. ;-)
