Yeah, I know that there are some issues left. I have the "wrong" LotR SEE Box. (preordered it) with the replacement discs. But the problem here was that warner made a mistake just respeeding the audio track from DVD (PAL) source. the original track was made for cinema, running 24 fps, so dubbed in correct speed.
The 4% peed won't been noticed in audio, if the companies would did the speeddown right... in normal movies the speedup is not really noticable, if you are not knowing the movie in correct speed perfectly.
The NTSC thing with ~29 FPS is more noticable, when the moie seems o "jump" sometimes, because of the inserted frames to get it from ~24fps to ~29 fps...
As someone living in Germany, born German.. (no, I have no tendencies to conquer the world.. thats an austria thing, when they are politicians somewhere else.. :) ) ..raised german languaged, no english roots, I surely know that most things are dubbed. (Not all indeed, I have some german DVDs with no german audio, but just subtitled.)
