It was I who gave Peter the DVD. I'm glad he liked it! SW:Revisited is my FAVORITE version of Star Wars,..and I am Access Hollywood's Ultimate Fan!

Hello all, I'm new here and to the edits. Ever since hearing of Adywan's work I have become fascinated and decided to dl ANH R. However I have ran into some difficulty. I do not wish to throw this forum of topic but I do not know where else to turn as you all are the experts.
I downloaded a torrent (my preference only because it is free) of the NTSC DVD 9 version. It is an .iso as well as the Video TS fix folder. I understand there is a fix to be applied......
That took a lot of searching. The PAR 2 file is no longer available via the link (or hours worth of searching fan edit forums). I tried to work with out the PAR 2 file and got stuck where you are supposed to select where the file is to be saved and name your volume label. It states "Imgburn.exe file path is invalid". I am unfortunately brand new to dvd file manipulation
Can anyone help with this issue? Regardless of how this gets solved I am looking forward to the release in May.

Managed to get a copy burned this morning after some help from a co-worker. Thank you D. Anywhoo. It plays wonderful. An amazing work. I can't even really begin to appreciate this undertaking as it should be. THANK YOU ADYWAN and all those involved! If any of my circuits or gears will help, I'll gladly donate them. I wish I had something useful to donate to this project.

Say, a while back I tried to download the Revisited "Purist" version, but I couldn't get it to open either. Is there someone here who wouldn't mind helping me out here with a link or something? I'd really appreciate it!

Bad news.
I set Batmatt92 up with working Rapidshare links to the Purist version.
The problem is that they got taken down some time this past weekend. It wasn't my upload.
I don't even know if he finished getting all of it in time.
This also affected me. I was downloading a big file, 70+ parts. I got over 50 of the rars only to have the files taken down this weekend.
Looks like Rapidshare may be cleaning house like all the others.

Rapidshare have changed their "free user" policy recently. Now free users get limited to 30kbps even when traffic isn't high. But many times the files now show as unavailable, even though the files are still there. You just have to keep trying.
EDIT: Just checked the rapidhsare links for the purist edition and they are all still online. I'd recommend using jdownloader to grab these files

Adywan's right - I didn't run into any problems, and I was downloading well into Monday. So they should still be there.

When ANH:R is redone in HD, will we be getting both Regular and Purist editions again?

I'm not sure either. I think he's rethought the changes he undid in the PURIST, so I think its either Purist only or maybe seamless branching.

I hope not... 3P0's line without "the princess" always makes me smile, because it is the first completely obvious difference, reassuring me that I'm watching the right version of ANH :)

I just really hope he reconsiders the editing of Ben's hut. If I could only have one thing from the Purist it would be leaving that scene the way it was originally.

I agree. While the way Ady edited it was to match the script, I feel the original edit makes that scene flow better. The script version drags in comparison.
