It's the origin story of the Jedi. I had my doubts about the premise but judging from issue #1 it looks like the series is gonna be an interesting read.
Again with the lightsabers. Don't those hack EU writers even bother keeping continuity with older works? Jedi - or proto-Jedi in this case - used swords during this era, not lightsabers. The technology isn't even supposed to exist in this time period.
Perhaps I'm just splitting hairs, but this kind of discontinuous bullshit running rampant in the modern EU is just the thing that makes it next to impossible for me to enjoy the franchise any more.
