Pandorum (2009).

How the hell did this film flop?

It's visually amazing, has great action sequences and lots of interesting ideas.

Sure, if you really think it through it doesn't make much sense in the same way that Alien doesn't if you really look hard at it but if you cut it the same amount of slack it's the best science fiction horror film since Carpenter's The Thing (1982).

It's narrative flaws are nowhere near as bad as those found in Aliens.

It really makes my heart sink when Paul W.S. Anderson is encouraged by sales to make more and more Resident Evil films when this film really deserved to succeed.

To get a bit of perspective Species (1995) cost the same made about five times the amount of money and spawned three equally crap sequels.

It's SPACE MADNESS!

I guess if the female lead had got her top off it might have made more cash.

Hopefully it will get rediscovered and become a cult film.
