Agreed. The battle is over. We've lost. This year all of the 3-D stuff and these interviews just salt the wounds.

Amen to that too. The problem is that GL is still the spoiled teenager who just wants to drive cars all day, and not maintaining his legacy. The George Lucas we see today was the exact same Lucas from the 70s. He was just as incompetent then as he is now; the only difference is that his incompetence is more transparent than it was back then. The only real reason the first star wars film is an enduring classic is because the editors saved it from being a disaster. And how did GL thank them? By purging them from the official story and taking more undeserving credit. Now the loss of the OOT is all but secured. Han shooting first? Well, GL has thrown that fact down the memory hole. And no one can stop him, as billions of dollars will always nullify the opinions of millions.
