Wow, it has already been said here to death, but Lucas is truly clueless about why so many fans take issue with him nowadays. Ever since I was 7 I never had any trouble figuring out who shot first, and I didn't think Han was a cold-blooded killer because of it. It was either him or Greedo. That's all there is to it and that's all there ever was until he messed with it in the SE.

And yeah, he's right - there are 4 different versions of Blade Runner - and we get all of them on Blu-ray to choose which we like best. There's also 2 different versions of each Alien film on Blu-Ray. And 2 versions of E.T. on DVD. So nice that he makes it easy for us by only letting us have one choice.

Does he really believe the crap that he spouts or is he just hoping that we will? Lucas has virtually killed Star Wars for me. I don't believe a single word he says anymore and I haven't for some time now. How can I possibly respect him when he says things like this? Adywan is the sole reason I still care at all about Star Wars. Him and other members who have done their best to honor Star Wars as best they can. Lucas has done nothing but hurt Star Wars ever since the SE.
