I have been told I am my own worst enemy in which case attempting to be BEST friends with him is sending the most mixed message I can think of, and I've given that some considerable thought.

It's a sort of disguise, I've got a universal reputation for that sort of thing... I'm sort of an expert of disguise. 

Were those thoughts all related somehow, or just a string of random? ;-)

It's black, it's phallic and it reduces your foe's crushed corpse down to the size of an action figure, which makes the ideal valentine's gift for one their friends or relatives.

I do hope you get better for your special day twister.

But all it can do is shoot lasers, assemble flat packed furniture and age the Doctor to the point where he inexplicably resembles Dobby.

Mine shoots particle beams too but it's also shrinks people to death (you know, for kids?).

It's a bit of devil to assemble (being composed of conceptual components and all) but it erases the target from history and it's really big... If you know what I mean?

A real shame to read Whitney Houston has been claimed by mortality.

She had a habit of yodeling on some of her more famous tracks (what she did to Dolly Parton's heartfelt I Will Always Love You was almost unforgivable) but she had a joyful exuberance which was quite infectious.

She didn't have her due share of happiness but she gave happiness in small doses to others.

I hope there is a happy choir in the hereafter because if there is there is a fair set of pipes joining the song now.

Well, I see that Darth Lucas now has an apprentice.   His name is Andrew Lloyd Webber.    It seems that Webber has changed his classic Phantom of the Opera in the 25th anniversary performance to make it fit better with his crappy sequel Love Never Dies.   

Both are crappy.

I know Weber later started adding more and more of a rock sound to the title song, but I preferred the more traditional sound for the original recording with Michael Crawford and and Sarah Brightman.  I think he even later termed it a "rock opera," which I never suspected of the original.  So I think he's actually been apprenticing at this for some time.

Didn't even know there was a sequel.  Sometimes a story just is better without a sequel.  Okay, often.

I rather like Jesus Christ Superstar and Evita (to a lesser extent) but Phantom Of The Opera for me is the zenith of his really silly phase best summed up by this knowing pastiche.
