Cracked out the old NES to play some Zelda a couple of days ago. After changing the connector inside my system several years back, I haven't had to deal with the blinking red light. It's been great. Sadly, after spending two years in storage, unused and unloved, I pull it out only to discover the blinking read light is back... :(

Not sure why this would happen. The new connectors are suppose to be a lot better quality than the old ones, and it worked fine last time I used it. I didn't leave a game in it while it was being stored, and probably clocked in less than 50 hours of play time since replacing the connector. Maybe it just took on some dirt while being stored, maybe if I take it apart and clean it out it won't do it anymore.
