Well done on the script Darth_Ender... It certainly highlights what a massive daunting undertaking this project really is... But as Joahannus said we need to take the small steps approach and chip away at it lightly one step at a time, bit by bit, scene by scene rather than being scared of looking at it as a whole.. How do you ever think I got any of my rubbish mock-ups done.

You have had the same problems I had then with the star tours 2 footage also I opted to make it brighter rather than darker as you have just cannot get it to look right :(

Just been thinking about the sarlac pit and what It would prey on normally as a living animal or creature so I guess the answer is sandworms.. It would pull them in when they came too close with it's tentacles So I have found footage and plan to show a sandworm moving under the sand before the sailbarge reveal as for the creature to survive it would need sandworms fairly prolific in the area it would also explain the reasons for all the floating skiffs / speeders ect because of sandworm attacks in the open desert. we also saw the skeleton of one in episode 4 A new hope so this would correlate I feel. Edit: whoops it's not it's a krayt dragon

But I only want to show a shape under the sand and not an actual sandworm on the surface keep them mysterious as they are by nature...

So i'll paint out the small bantha herd but also but show the eco system like sarlac eats sand worms - sand worms eat banthas... Making the sarlac more believeable as a creature because not much even delirious desert travellers or creatures will simply fall into that things mouth even every hundred years....
