Wow, I'm picturing myself on a boat on a river. With tangerine trees and marmalade skies.

McCallum: It’s Empire on steroids. That's because I don't understand what made the Empire Strikes Back a great movie.
Fixed
I just saw this supposed spoiler at AICN. The writer trusts the source, and AICN is usually on top of spy info.

My interest level remains close to absolute zero.
“Grow up. These are my Disney's movies, not yours.”
Uh...the series is set post ROTS and pre-ANH. Technically I guess he could have enough enemies by that point to warrant that kind of attention but this sounds more like a plot for Seth Green's comedy series. At least I really really hope it is.
I kinda wanna agree with Tobes here.
Still... still wouldn't shock me to see it's true. I mean, it IS Lucas we're talking about here.
Keep Circulating the Tapes.
END OF LINE
(It hasn’t happened yet)
Bandits who travel through time? It's been done already!
Where were you in '77?

Quick! Get Terry Gilliam! He needs to sue Luca$film for ripping him off!

Could be fun to see... just change some designs and call it something else than Star Wars.

So is my belief level on that "leak".
The unknown source then got back into his blue box, a strange sound was heard and the box was gone
I don't believe a word of it. It sounds too much like Terminator (and Star Trek 2009, for that matter).
I mean, time travel in Star Wars? Really???
Spoiler free for the ST
This is just the kind of "you have got to be kidding me" idea that would come from Lucasfilm. It's right up there with the new Krayt Dragon sound and the "NOOOOO".
On the other hand, it could be a way to improve the prequels, Infinities style.
You know of the rebellion against the Empire?

im not so sure I believe it either...if only because the time period between ROTS and ANH was off limits for everything else because the show was going to take place aound this time.
another thing Im not sure I believe is the idea that 50 scripts have already been made. no one makes that many scripts before a show is cast, let alone green-lit. so much can change depending on the actors, growth of story lines, etc.

George Lucas is not a man who changes his mind . . .
On a serious note, I agree. And I think introducing time travel into main SW canon is a terrible idea.
The blue elephant in the room.
Time travel was briefly mentioned onscreen though. From a certain point of view! ;)
C-3PO: Is there anything I can do?
Luke: Not unless you can alter time, speed up the harvest or teleport me off this rock.
Where were you in '77?
Look, I'm just hoping the Rebel fleet will hang around the Sol system and land invisible X-Wings full of Yoda's Jedi Younglings and have an exciting Halloween adventure with ET and Wolfman Jack.
I'd love to see this turned into a series.

To be fair he didn't say "fifty good scripts."

Will they save the whales and/or Sarah Connor as well?
