What's more disturbing is he was a little girl a few moments before.

I have the sampler disc.  So far, I have watched only Sins of the Father.  It looked and sounded fantastic.  Colors and effects seemed true to the original.  Grain is present, and the detail level was high.  I noticed a tiny amount of upscaled material for a couple of shots that obviously could not be recovered. 

I know these episodes very well and was looking for flaws, but any imperfections were minor.  Shots of Qo'nos look better than they ever have.    I'm not a great audiophile, but dialogue seemed crisp, and I heard background noises clearly, such as dripping water and footsteps on carpets.  If the whole series is like this, I shall be very happy.  If Star Wars were restored like this, I think most of use would be ecstatic.

Are there some bonuses ?

Bonuses are very light.  There is a trailer for season one and a teaser promo, but as this is a sampler I didn't expect much more.

Was the animated gif of Homer turning the light on and off included on the sampler?

Haven't been reading much off topic lately.  Hadn't read this thread for a couple of weeks.  Came back and...wow!  I'm glad Star Trek IV didn't feature sperm whales or we'd really have been in trouble.

So far, I've listened only to the 7.1 track, but I will listen to the other track at some point.

I'm watching the BD right now. I am absolutely blown away by the quality, the sharpness, the details, the colours ... I seriously hope I will live enough to see the original Star Wars trilogy in this quality
