The transfers both have their strength and weakness but what I meant was that there's simply no comparison between my murky capture and Arnie.d's, and I think Chew can make something really nice out of this. You can expect at least a contrast and gamma corrected version of my Technidisc capture, the lousy DVD recorder I used, captured it much too dark, making no justice to how the real LD look.

A preservation project of the original films without DVNR-artifacts should always be encouraged IMO, I would in fact be interested in these even if the trilogy was beautifully restored tomorrow, but that's me.
