I know you don't need any help but with all that ram I'd take out all but one stick, ( or do they have to run in pairs?) and try that. The other thing possibly hanging is your video cards. Try running just one for install.

And last but not least boot into safe mode and installing windows from there might help.

Still a no go, I used You_Too bios settings, and removed all but 1 4GB stick, and removed 1 video card and sli bridge, and it still will not install friggin Windows 7.

Looks like I have exhausted all suggestions, damn this sux!
