Please try to remember that it is incomplete and the x-wing on tattooine is missing FX shots and audio samples too... aswell as Yoda needs Dubbing but it is for the purpose of structure I am doing this and trying to convey my ideas is the only way to mock it up... I hope you enjoy this storyboard video

I didn't like the crystal idea before, but I think it could work your way. I wonder if we could work the crystal into the scene where Luke builds his lightsaber somehow. If not, it might not be so easy for the audience to connect the crystal to the lightsaber.

The part where Luke flies into Tattooine is cool, but the music is out of place, as is Luke's first line of dialogue to R2. The rest of the beginning is ominous, slow, and dark; all things that the music and Luke's line aren't. Also, while I'm not completely against the idea of Luke flying through Beggar's Canyon, I think if it were to be used, it would need to be shorter than how you have it. I'm still against the idea because I think it would ruin the flow, but I will admit it's really cool and different in a good way.
